BFC wants to stand by its mission statement of engaging the community in a spirit of cultural diversity by showcasing Mexico’s many dances and regions. However, one of BFC’s biggest struggles is funding the year-to-year operating costs of maintaining, repairing, and storing our new and existing costumes. This financial challenge often lessens the number of dancers on stage and limits the repertoire learned by members.
